About Bandcamp

Our focus, this season, is to make you experience great indie music live.

Bandcamp is an initiative by White Collar Hippie. Discover new indie bands or listen to your favourite popular musicians in a gorgeous setting!

We have a mix of gigs... with bands performing original music and well-loved covers. Our amphitheatre, which is a naturally sculpted rock face, serves as the perfect spot to lay back and watch a sky full of stars as the musicians serenade you.

The Campsite

A stone's throw away from the city (clock says 90 minutes!), the White Collar Hippie campsite is located off Gorai beach and is precisely why you don't have to look for faraway forests to pitch that tent.

Speaking of tents, the Bandcamp layout is such that you can enjoy nature and have your privacy even though it's a bustling campsite. You can plop yourself in one of the hammocks, unwind in the main area or walk around the fishing village down to the sea.

There are a ton of books for the readers and games for those who are socially inclined. Since Uttan is a coastal town (home to the Koli community), meals are freshly made and served by locals. Sundown brings with it a pre-gig BBQ and bar that sets the mood for the rest of the evening.

We're always trying to make Bandcamp more self-sustaining, inclusive and eco-friendly. Here's how:

The Site

Maximum construction material is sourced from the site, with minimal use of cement.

Waste segregation and correct disposal, continuous reduction of plastic, zero single-use / disposable plastic products.

We are 100% self-sufficient through rain-water harvesting!

All our vendors & staff are from the local community. More than 50% of them are women.
